Welcome to Lake View, home of beautiful Black Hawk Lake. Once known as the “best kept secret in Iowa”, Lake View is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. We have a strong biking community that enjoys riding the 33-mile hard surface Sauk Rail Trail, a beautiful lake for all types of water sports, and two large campgrounds on the shoreline of Black Hawk Lake that offer campers a variety of amenities.
