Built in 1987 and added onto in 2020, the Lake View Public Library is located at 202 Main Street. It contains an excellent selection of books, large print books, magazines, movies, audio books, computers, free wireless access for public use and an expanded children’s section. The library features a large meeting room that can be divided into two rooms with TV and Wii activities.
The Library Board of Trustees and staff take pride in offering access to a wealth of reference materials, including genealogy resources, downloadable books, WILBOR e-books and an EBSCO host link on the web page for research. Also, interlibrary loan and faxing services are available.
Popular programs offered at the library include: Book Club, Café Poetry, Kids After School and Summer Reading.

The Lake View Library is closed on July 4th, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Also, the Library closes early at 4:00 p.m. the day before Christmas and New Year’s Day if those days fall on a regular work day.
